You will learn the fundamental skills needed to be a world-class sales professional as a Revenue School Associate. You’ll also learn about Shopify’s products, as well as the tech and SaaS landscape. The Revenue School program at the Shopify School of Commerce is designed to provide you with a best-in-class learning experience in one of the world’s most innovative companies as you begin your professional career. Coaching, hands-on assignments, facilitator-led training, asynchronous modules, job shadowing, and mentorship will be used to teach you sales, including inbound and outbound skills.

Our expanding sales teams work directly with notable brands and entrepreneurs to develop their commerce strategies, whether it’s starting or expanding their brick-and-mortar operations or reaching out to the millions of consumers who prefer to pay with Shop Pay.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
- Recent college or university graduate OR have 2+ years of work experience

ROLE OF THE EMPLOYEE
- Participate in our world-class onboarding program, which is designed to prepare our new sales hires for success from the start.
- Learn core sales skills such as high-impact messaging, prospecting, cold calling, discovery, and objection handling.
- Learn how to use sales software such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and Gong.
- Learn everything there is to know about Shopify and our business model, the markets we serve, and our suite of products designed to help our merchants grow.
- Professional development training in personal branding, empathy, networking and relationship building, and stress management will be provided.
- Get hands-on experience putting your new skills to use with a 6-8 week assignment on a sales team involving shadowing, prospecting, contacting merchants, and on-the-job coaching with a sales coach.
- During your assignment, be the first point of contact, making an excellent first impression and connecting prospects with an account executive through qualifying conversations.
