REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
- Experience assisting customers in a retail setting for at least one year, using your x-ray vision to spot sales and referral opportunities.
- You are to be deeply committed to positively impacting not only your members but also their communities.
- You are eager to share what you learned during your postsecondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field with the rest of the world.
- Being able to excel at forming relationships with a wide range of people and wanting to assist them with simple financial assistance.
- You are to be a big fan of teamwork and show it every day.
- You have to be an expert at multitasking, able to prioritize and organize what needs to be done efficiently and effectively.
- You must possess oral and written English. And if you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, or Punjabi, that would be fantastic. Perhaps even our week.
- You are technologically savvy and enjoy sharing your knowledge with your members.
- Our branches are open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 to 7:00, so be prepared to work a variety of hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
ROLE OF THE EMPLOYEE
- Build relationships with members in the branch and provide an exceptional member experience by meeting their initial needs and identifying future opportunities through money chats, among other things!
- To provide a memorable member experience, demonstrate your knowledge of technology by educating members on our alternate channels (online banking and mobile platforms).
- Contribute to team results by listening, spotting opportunities, and collaborating with other Coast Capital team members to best meet our members’ financial needs.
- Continue to gain a solid understanding of how Coast Capital Savings contributes to our members’ financial well-being.
- Create a positive member experience by taking proactive responsibility for resolving and preventing member banking issues.
- Maintain a detective’s eye out for counterfeit money and fraudulent activities.
